Using the calendar needs no account and sets no cookies. If you sign up for reminders we keep the details below, only to send those reminders.

Just browsing

You can read every page without giving us any information. Your chosen city and display choices (12 or 24 hour time, light or dark) are saved only in your own browser. We set no cookies and use no advertising trackers. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) sees the technical data of every web request, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and block attacks. Cloudflare also provides web analytics for this site: a small script it adds to our pages reports page views and how fast pages load. It does not use cookies, and we use the totals only to see how many people visit and which pages are slow. If you would rather not be counted, a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts will stop it, and the site works the same.

The advertisement

This site carries one advertisement, for Prem Tax and Accounting Corp (smalltax.com), a tax practice owned by the owner of this site. It is a plain, labelled link. The advertisement itself sets no cookies and loads nothing from another website, and nothing about you is sent to the advertiser when a page loads. If you click it, smalltax.com can see that you arrived from panchangusa.com. The advertisement does not appear on the sign-up and settings pages.

If you sign up for reminders

• What we collect: your first name, email address, mobile phone number, city (and state), the reminders you chose, when you agreed to receive them, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address used to prevent abuse.
• Why: to send the email reminders you asked for, to confirm your email address, and to keep a record of your consent. If you tick the text-message box, to send text reminders once they are available (see the SMS terms).
• Protection: your phone number is stored encrypted. Confirmation and settings links contain long random codes; we keep only a one-way hash of each code.
• Who helps us: our servers are hosted at DigitalOcean, the site is delivered through Cloudflare, and emails are delivered by Resend. They process data only on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your information and we do not share it for advertising.
• How long: until you unsubscribe or delete your data. Use the link at the bottom of any reminder email to change what you receive, pause everything, or delete your data completely. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed automatically.

Your choices

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link and a settings link. You can also write to us at [email protected] and ask to see, correct or delete what we hold.

Children

Reminders are for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent to sign up.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell subscribers by email.
